our history
Federchimica and Assolombarda founded Certiquality in 1989.
Since the very beginning, Certiquality geard its activity to foster organization’s growth initially providing training activities and offering a Quality Management Systems Certification service.
To best support organizations, CQY has always worked with a proactive and forward-looking spirit to be ready to provide its clients with the newest services demanded by the market. An example of this is obtaining in 1996 the status of the first body in Italy accredited for the certification of environmental management, a subject that seemed at the time to be truly pioneering.
For the past several years, CQY has also been undergoing a major internal reorganization aimed at making its processes more efficient and renewing its operating methods, guided by a new mission and corporate vision.
Also part of this landscape is the acquisition in 2021 of the majority of the Company Globe Srl in Turin, an important step for the development and consolidation of the presence in the Global market.
Accreditation by Accredia and other relevant bodies ensures compliance with ISO/IEC 17065, ISO/IEC 17021 and ISO/IEC 17020 Standards for Certification Bodies, has always guaranteed their independence, impartiality and competence.
Finally, Certiquality is among the founding members of Conforma , the Italian association that brings together many of the companies operating in the ICT (Testing, Inspection, Certification) world.

CERTIQUALITY is a partner of IQNET (International Certification Network) and has issued certifications across Europe, as well as in many other non-European countries. IQNET - The International Certification Network has been active since 1990, and has almost 40 Partner certification bodies with more than 200 subsidiaries worldwide. Each of these IQNET Partners is a leader in their region; and collectively through IQNET, this represents the most extensive and reputable network of certification bodies worldwide.
All IQNET members have signed the IQNET Multi-Lateral Agreement (MLA). This means they mutually recognise the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and various other certificates of all other IQNET partner as being equivalent to their own.
